Tactics vs Strategies
Now Is Not Soon Enough – But It Will

The difference between Tactics and Strategies is simply stated as Strategy is an overall plan or set of goals. Changing strategies is like trying to turn around an aircraft carrier—it can be done but not quickly. Tactics are the specific actions or steps you undertake in accomplishing your strategy.

Don’t miss the boat by insisting on and maintaining a “This is the way we’ve always done it – and this is the way we’ll always do it” mentality. Let’s begin turning around that aircraft carrier and begin going in a profitable direction for your organization.  Groups are getting online and seeing their overhead drop dramatically, their outside the membership contributions increase, their respect within the community is solidified, and their organization’s membership grow in both numbers and volunteer support.  If any or all of these objectives fit within your organizations agenda, then I suggest you give us a call and let’s talk – we can help.  For business owners, with the Internet tools available, you can also cut overhead dramatically, be open around the clock and still be in business while you’re asleep.

If you are going to target the younger generations, you have to be on the Internet.  They have grown up in a virtual world and do everything over the web.  Now is the time to step into the 21st century.  Don’t worry about if there is something you don’t know or understand, we will go through it together and come out on the other side with a winning solution that will work for you and be profitable for your organization.

Your communications via email can have a link to your donation page or place of business, making it easier for someone to make a connection right there.  Your business cards and promotional brochures can have a QR code when scanned will immediately open their cell phone to your website.  With a mobile responsive website, they can now purchase or donate instantly while online.  Ask yourself, would you rather make a contribution by the click of a mouse over a secured web page and instantly receive your tax deduction receipt or would you rather receive a letter in the mail asking for a contribution, go get your checkbook, try and find a pen, fill out the check, try to find an envelope, try to find a stamp, address the envelope, lick the stamp and place it on the envelope, take it to the mailbox and then wait for the tax deduction receipt to be mailed back to you.  For business owners, there are over 2 billion digital buyers and eCommerce sales account for 14.1% of retail purchases, that is a market arena you don’t want to be left out of.  Obviously the online option is the choice of preference and why online contributions and online shopping are increasing annually at a rate of over 12%.  According to web statistics, in 2019 approximately 144 billion dollars was donated to non-profit organizations via the Internet and 3.5 Trillion in U.S. dollars for e-retail sales.  The question to ask “Is your organization getting it’s share?”
